Welcome! I am so excited you have found yourself in my corner of the internet where it's my goal to make everyone feel welcome and safe.

My name is Danielle and I am a proud, anxious, queer woman and books are my passion. Books have been my best friends since I was a child. My dream is to one day own my own brick and mortar bookstore and this is the start of that dream.

Enjoy this site and all its products and content as my love letter to books and all who love them.

Shop Values

  • Affordability

    I do not come from a high income household and I am still not a high income household. I want everyone to be able to afford literature. It should not only be available for the elite or the rich. Or even the sort of rich.

  • Inclusivity

    I will not be perfect at this tenant because I am only human but, I want to be representing as many voices and stories as I can. I am also sourcing many of my books from thrift shops and books sales in my area so I am limited in some ways by the demographics around me currently. Hopefully, this will change soon and I will be able to source from a wider selection.

  • Transparency

    I want to be honest and upfront about my day-to-day as a bookshop owner and with my business model. I am still learning and growing as a business owner and will keep you all updated as policies change.
